Just updating…

When I woke up this morning, the Defibrillator had slipped out of its internal pocket! There was a big lump on my chest, and I am sure the thing was sideways. It scared me. I am still waiting for the Dr’s office to open so I can call about it. I just kind of manipulated it the way I imagined it should be, and PRAISE Yah, it settled back into its ‘place’ and doesn’t hurt anymore. I never expected something like that could happen. Three months and 3 days with this device inside me.

The air purifier came last night. Walmart delivered it right to the door! It’s set up and running and not too noisy. Kind of like a nice fan.

Bone broth is cooling, ready to be strained ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a Lady’s Zoom meeting at noon.

AND, I’m drinking my first cup of coffee in 2 months. I just wasn’t hungry, so I decided to add protein to coffee for breakfast ๐Ÿ™‚

The house is fully online now and up for sale. The RA loaded 37 pictures and not near what I wanted as far as description. When I first looked at it on Zillow, I cried. The things that made it inviting and warm just aren’t there anymore. I go through my pictures and I love the memories. I loved my house and I believe anyone who came inside could tell that I loved it. I’ve been gone 3 full yrs and 4 months, and you can’t tell I was ever there. Such a weird feeling. Of course I have blocked Steve from this post. He has an appointment Saturday morning to show it to an ‘Investor’. I can’t even talk to Steve about letting it go. He thinks people will compete for it and we’ll get more than he decided to list it for. Who knows? But as long as I’ve waited, he’s decided only he can have a say about selling it. SIGH. He won’t make a move without talking to his 80-year-old brother. At least where the house is concerned, that’s a good thing. Don knows the practical side of selling.

I really just need to push this from my mind. I left – he changed the house like he changed everything I loved. There’s no sense of me in anything he’s touched. Except Geoffrey. G can surprise me sometimes. Steve blames the job he had for 30 yrs. He blames his stroke. He blames ME. HE BLAMES ME. To be whole in my head, TX is the best thing I ever did for myself to untangle from him. He could take me to my lowest level and never blink an eye. He still can. He wears me out. Yeah, helping Cheryl wasn’t my best decision and took a while to overcome what she did to us, but I think when this house business is over, it’ll ALL be over. I hope so because I don’t want to be his sorting spot or sounding board anymore. I don’t care about his perceived girlfriend or how good a person she is, or those feral cats that he’s let scent up the house. I don’t want to talk about anything anymore. I feel like I gave that man my all. Back in the day, he was my person… Today, I cry about that just like seeing the house made me cry.

Eventually, the house will sell, and all of this will be over.

I think it’s time to go reheat my coffee. I have some knitting to do, AND new friendships to build. It’s going to be a good day ๐Ÿ™‚

About Morning Knits

I believe in and practice positive living. I love YARN, cooking, music, bird watching, herbs, and gardening. I am passionate about YHWH the Elohim of all the earth. I believe it's our responsibility to tend that earth. I basically do my thing in a quiet, amused way. I believe in laughter, and the power of combined prayer. I am a true homebody. I have 6 kids, all home-born and successfully breastfed. They are all grown. I'm the oldest of 9, daughter of a missionary mother who lives in Kenya, and I have a spoiled service dog and 2 rescued cats. Right now, there is balance after yrs of unemployment. My disability was approved due to degenerative discs, fibromyalgia, and obesity. That last is hard to say. I believe we owe it to ourselves to protect our mental health. It's precious and the one thing we can control. I would rather not do my own housework and I talk too much. I bought a house in North Carolina which I ended up leaving for my husband to sell. I'm a two-time caregiver. My husband and I are separated due to stroke complications and personality difficulties. I am in Texas now. The one place on earth I said I'd never go unless Yah moved me there and HERE I AM! G and I are sharing a small apartment and so far, things are going well.
